Warning to Snow Leopard users!

If you are using Mac OS X v10.6 "Snow Leopard", don't run as a guest user, or better yet, disable it. There is a major bug that causes the primary user's home folder to be deleted when logging out of the guest user. If you are planning on upgrading to Snow Leopard, disable the guest user before you upgrade.

Update on Snow Leopard

I'm not seeing any major improvement from Leopard, if any. At least it's not any slower. Maybe I should try doing an Erase And Install at some point. I'm still stuck with the Windows way of thinking after using it for so many years. 15 years to be precise.

Snow Leopards are cold and scary

I got Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard today. $35. Was it worth it? I'll find out soon enough.
