Georges Laraque did WHAT now?

At first I thought this was an April Fool's day joke, but the date in the post and on my menu bar said February 22nd, and there's a press release, so I guess it's real.

In a press release that seemed to come out of nowhere, Georges Laraque is now the spokesperson of TekSavvy. They will be giving him a cheque for $10,000 to help aid Haiti.

In late 2007, I found out about their existence. In early 2009, I convinced my parents to switch to them for internet and have been happily using them since. They're now in their 12th year in business and Georges Laraque is now part of the Team. TekSavvy's advertising has generally been very minimal so I don't know what to expect from this. If I had to guess, I think his plan is to beat the shit out of TekSavvy's competition (Bell, Telus, Rogers, Cogeco, Videotron).
